What to expect when adopting

Every animal in our care has been rescued from high-risk shelters where they were placed on a 72-hour euthanasia list. Through coordinated efforts, we have transported them to safety. However, due to the circumstances of their rescue, we are unable to guarantee specific details regarding their breed, age, or any medical or behavioural concerns related to their breed. Rest assured, all animals in our care have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, fully vetted, and are up to date on all vaccinations.

Adoption fees are determined solely by the transportation and veterinary care costs for each dog, As vet and transportation costs are unpredictable, we have made the commitment to never list an animal for more than $650. In certain cases, if the animal is in urgent need of a home, the fee may be reduced or waived.

Once an application is submitted and all required information is provided, our team will review it within 72 hours and arrange a home visit—either virtually or in person. Following the home visit, we aim to provide a response within 24 hours regarding your suitability as a match for the dog.

Please note that the fees associated with adoption are not for the animals themselves. We do not sell animals; instead, we have donation fees in place, which are solely used to cover the costs related to their care and well-being.

Meet Sammy!

Sammy is an absolute sweetheart with a zest for life!

At around 8 months old, he’s full of energy and curiosity, always ready to play, run, and explore.

Whether he's zooming around the backyard or going on long walks, Sammy is happiest when he's by your side.

Although we’re unsure of Sammy’s exact breed, one thing’s for sure, he’s 100% a good boy, and he’s sure to win over anyone who meets him!

Sammy has plenty of energy, but he settles down quickly when it’s time to relax. He enjoys playing with his foster siblings, Bowie and Stella, and is just as happy cuddling up next to them when it’s time to wind down.

A true foodie, Sammy is highly motivated by treats and eager to try new things. He’s been fostered with a cat and has shown little interest in interacting with the kitties, making him a great companion for households with feline friends.

When Sammy first arrived, he was a bit anxious about crates and leashes, but with patience and love, he’s gained confidence and is now much more comfortable with both.

With Sammy's long coat, grooming will be required, but Sammy is so loving, and just wants to be with you, that he shows no hesitation to a little pampering!

Daisy

Meet Daisy!

This sweet Rottweiler-Shepherd mix is around 6 months old and truly a ray of sunshine! Daisy’s foster family can’t say enough about how wonderful she is, she’s the perfect puppy! Easy to train, adaptable, and on the calmer side, she’s just a joy to have around.

Daisy has a special bond with her big foster brother, Emmet, and would thrive in a home with other dogs. She looks to Emmet for guidance and has been picking up on training incredibly quickly!

While Daisy is a cuddler at heart, whether it’s with Emmet or her people, she’s a little shy when adjusting to new environments or meeting new people. With some patience and time, she warms up quickly and has shown no signs of fear-based aggression.

Daisy enjoys her walks, playing in the yard, and, of course, lounging on a cozy couch for a Netflix day with her favorite companions.

She’s been around both dogs and cats, though hasn’t been tested with children yet.

Daisy is ready to find her forever home and can’t wait to share her love and snuggles with her new family and best friends!

Lily

Meet Lilly!

Lilly is a delightful 1-year old Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and energy. While she’s a bit smaller than the typical Shepherd, she’s still a wonderful medium-large size, perfect for cuddles and adventures.

Lilly adores her people and would thrive in a home where she can be the center of attention. Although she loves being the focus of affection, she’s also great with other dogs. However, she would do best in a home where she’s the only dog, as she enjoys all the love and affection to herself.

This playful girl is all about belly rubs, she’ll happily accept as many as you’re willing to give!

Lilly has a lively play style, often bowing and ready for a fun game of tag. She’s highly intelligent and requires mental stimulation, whether it’s through exploring new trails, engaging in training sessions, or playing with puzzle toys. If she doesn’t get enough brain activity, she can get a bit bored, so keeping her mentally engaged is key.

Lilly enjoys chew toys and bones, but she’s been known to swipe a kitchen cloth or two when the opportunity arises! She also loves treat-filled Kongs, which provide her with a fun challenge.
